Silk'n Cleansing Box is a disinfection system to disinfect your Silk'n Glide or Silk'n Infinity hair removal device.
Certain bacteria can be killed with blue LED light, due to its antibacterial effects. Silk'n Cleansing Box makes use of this blue LED light. Simply place the hair removal device inside the Cleansing Box for 5 to 6 minutes. Bacteria cells absorb the blue LED light and die.
After your hair removal session, the treatment area of your hair removal device can get dirty due to dead skin cells. To disinfect the treatment surface, you can use Silk'n Cleansing Box. Also if you plan to share your hair removal device with somebody else, Cleansing Box is an ideal way to disinfect your device properly.
After disinfection with Cleansing Box the treatment surface will be hygienically clean. Marks or stains (residue from dead skin cells) may be left behind and will not be whipped away entirely. However, these spots are harmless since the bacteria inside are killed by the blue LED light.
No, Cleansing Box only works with Silk'n Glide devices (all versions) and with Silk'n Infinity. It will not work with any other hair removal device from Silk'n or other brands.
