Painless and effective
Been using this for a few months now and really pleased with the results on my coarse thick dark hair. I was a bit worried about using it as I’m very fair skinned but it was painless and easy to use. I had no issues using the product, didn’t cause any pain. It did get a bit hot but it was not uncomfortable. Using it on my bikini line and under arms I can really see a difference. Many of the hairs have disappeared altogether and only some come back but they are a lot thinner. The frequency in which I need to apply has also reduced meaning I can start on the larger area of my legs. Can’t wait until I don’t need to wax them anymore.

Good device, looking forward to next summer
I have been using this device for 3 months now. My hair has started to grow in thinner on both my legs and underarms and I now have patches on my legs. I am hopeful that I will continue to see improvement over more time. I used to shave my underarms everyday, now I can leave a day in between shaves. I also find shaving my legs once a week is enough. The device is very easy to use and completely pain free. I use setting number 4, there is no pain but it does get quite warm. If I continue to see improvement I will definitely be recommending it to family and friends.

Great product, good results
I have been using the Silkn Smooth now for around 3 months. I was a bit apprehensive about using it but I needn't have worried as it was actually easy to use, it is painless though you do feel a little heat from the device.
In the past I have shaved under my arms and on my legs and been frustrated by the regrowth. With Silkn Smooth this regrowth has definitely slowed down and is barely there in some areas, my skin is becoming smoother for longer each time I use it. There is some regrowth, but it is less each time and much finer.
My only regret is that I have not found this product earlier. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who was considering purchasing it.

Would be 5, But haven’t used it enough yet!
Well, I had reservations at first after seeing the reviews. And for the money I was sceptical. But.. I saw this reduced in my local TKMAXX and went for it!
I was pleasantly surprised. It came in lovely packaging, and inside was a small case to keep everything organised which I LOVE. It also come with plug adapters, an electrical shaver and lots of information leaflets.
The electrical shaver itself hasnt blown me away, but it does the job well!
In terms of the actual ipl handset, so far so good! I’ve used it once, so yet to see actual results but there’s absolutely NO PAIN, this was something I was incredibly shocked at! I thought there would be some sort of discomfort or pain while undertaking the treatment but no!
I didn’t even feel the warmth from the machine until doing my bikini area! I have treated my underarms and it was pain free and NO heat. My lower legs I did after my underarms and there was a slight feeling of warm, but not uncomfortable at all, it actually felt quite nice!
And when doing my bikini area the next day I did feel a slight warmth, only when treating and there was no redness or itching afterwards! I believe this is because it’s a sensitive area so I presume as the light intensity goes up so will the warmth but nothing I can’t handle currently.
I would give this a go!
So far, awaiting results I’m giving this a 4 star for all round good packaging and the truth of the no pain statement made! It’s also incredibly easy to use with simple instructions AND a FREE app to help you track treatments etc!
My only downside.. after using the device, I unplugged it and put it back into the case… as I did so, I realised the light was STILL ON on the plug, indicating it was plugged in. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, but as a bit of a sceptical person it worries me slightly for plug fires etc. just something to be wary of.

Bye Bye Hair!
I was excited about this and seemed to have slightly more technology behind it than other brands!
I have been trying to find a more permanent method than epilating, which i actually don't mind! There are many big brands that come to mind when i search IPL home devices. I Decided to go for something that had newer technology and abut more design!
I was very impressed with the box and it immediately spoke out to me as a premium product!
The shaver was a bit cheap but worked fine. I was definitely hoping for something more substantial but its not the real product so I wasn't too bothered.
After a good 4 treatments i dont have any hair and am very happy with results. Its easy to use and doesn't take as long as I thought! I have zero patience, probably why i'm quite partial to epilation!
I'm pleased I have invested the money and I will go on to do my face now and share it with my sister!

Easy and simple to use
Well packed, easy and simple to use. Takes loads less time than epilating. No pain at all, just on sensitive areas like armpits did on lvl 2 instead of 4 as lvl 4 made it a bit sore but that was my own fault. No pain just a slight bit of sore skin in small area of armpits which easily solved by putting aftersun on and doing armpits on lvl 2 the second time using it. Machine works perfectly. I have arthritis and its easy to use n lightweight. Only had it 4 weeks so only done 2 sessions. But so far so good. Doing my partners back hair and even he is happy to sit there and let me do it, trimming his hair actually takes longer than using the laser hair removal. Highly recommended so far! Will have to wait a few more sessions to see results as today was only my 2nd time using it.

No more hair!
I have dark hair and light skin and the results have been amazing! I cant talk highly enough about this. Don't have to worry about those annoying hairs now while I am on holiday

Disappointed
I have been using this for 12 months now and I still have hair growth ,I would not waste your money on this product it has made no difference at all
